Although Codsworth has 25 Damage Resistance and 5 Energy Resistance, he is vulnerable to heavy weapons, cannot be healed by Stimpaks, and is fairly expensive to repair, requiring a Robot Repair Kit. However, he can also be modified at a Robot Workbench.
Despite this, Codsworth is an extremely valuable companion and can even offer bonuses to the player.
